Things to Do in Phu Quoc
2 days is a sufficient amount of time to spend on this island. Here are the must-do experiences in Phu Quoc:
1. Discover the Pearls of the Island at Long Beach
Stretching over 20 kilometers, Long Beach is Phu Quoc’s most popular and scenic beach. Immerse yourself in its soft sands and dip into the warm turquoise waters. Long Beach offers a variety of water sports activities such as jet skiing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, allowing you to explore the vibrant underwater world of coral reefs and marine life.
2. Enjoy an Island Hopping & Snorkelling Tour on a Speedboat
Phu Quoc is the largest island in Vietnam surrounded by coral reefs, making it an excellent destination for snorkelling and diving. You can explore the underwater world and see a variety of marine life, including colorful fish, turtles, and corals.
In this speedboat tour, go island-hopping and enjoy snorkeling where you get to witness beautiful coral reef and the vibrant marine life. Relish a seafood barbecue lunch and chill with a drink on the beach. This is a must-do experience in Phu Quoc!
3. Trek in Phu Quoc National Park
Nature enthusiasts will be captivated by the lush landscapes of Phu Quoc National Park. The Park has retained the original forest area and also has its own coastline. Here, you get to explore a rich variety of flora and fauna, including many endangered species. Enjoy a trek in the park where you will witness the serene landscape of the forest, with waterfalls, mountains and the ocean. Remember to dress in active wear to hike with ease and carry a mosquito repellent with you.
4. Hit the Beach Clubs in the Evening
Long Beach also has the best restaurants and bars on the island. You must visit Ocsen Beach Bar and Club on Long Beach. Reach in time to watch the mesmerising sunset by the ocean. Admiring the drama of the sun set on the ocean while you sip a drink on a bean bag with your feet in the sand is an experience you can devour for hours.

5. Explore the Bai Thom Beach in the North
Head north of Phu Quoc to Bai Thom Beach which is relatively quieter than the rest of the island. You can choose to explore the island on a two-wheeler (recommended only if you’re used to driving two-wheelers) or rent a car/taxi for the day. This is a serene and tranquil place without any hustle bustle. Bask in the quiet atmosphere as you spend some time close to nature.

6. Witness the Magic of Star Beach
For a truly enchanting experience, visit Star Beach on a moonless night. The bioluminescent plankton that inhabit these waters create a mesmerizing spectacle, as the dark sea lights up with a beautiful blue glow. Take a night swim or simply stroll along the shoreline, and let the magic of nature unfold before your eyes.
7. Indulge in Phu Quoc’s Culinary Delights
Phu Quoc is renowned for its seafood, and your trip is incomplete without savoring the island’s culinary delights. Explore the vibrant local markets and sample fresh catches of the day, from succulent prawns to mouthwatering fish. Be sure to try the famous fish sauce, a staple in Vietnamese cuisine, which is produced locally in Phu Quoc.
