Where NOT to Stay in Phu Quoc
The entire island of Phu Quoc hasn’t been completely tapped yet and there are areas which are not as developed as the ones mentioned above. For these reasons only, we’d recommend you to avoid staying anywhere on the eastern or southern side of the island.
Sao Beach, situated on the east coast of Phu Quoc, is renowned for its picturesque scenery and pristine shores. While this area is mesmerizing, accommodation options in this area are limited compared to other parts of the island, and is best avoided as a place to stay in Phu Quoc.
Khem Beach in the southern part of Phu Quoc Island is another example of where not to stay on the island. It is in close proximity to the Phu Quoc International Airport, but involves a rough ride to reach due to its secluded location, and is hence best avoided.
